Bridging computation and medicine
About Me
I develop computational methods to advance personalized medicine and translational research. In my current position as a Biomedical Engineering PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University, I perform machine learning analysis and digital app design for the development of implantable and wearable devices for patients with spinal cord injury as a member of the HEPIUS Innovation lab. Previously, I employed deep learning techniques to automate analysis of cardiac imaging. I graduated in 2019 from MIT with a B.S. in Computer Science and Molecular Biology, where I performed research under the guidance of Professor Hugh Herr in the Biomechatronics Group. Additionally, I enjoy developing and implementing curricula to improve the computational, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills of middle school through undergraduate students pursuing community service.
Education
2019 - Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering, Johns Hopkins University
2015 - 2019 B.S. Computer Science and Biology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
